Just got the J-Bay out for the first four session!  WOW!.
Things I LOVE about the J-Bay
     > Handles great!
     > Drops in beautifully!
     > Turns on a dime!
     > Jets down the line!
     > Responds precisely!
     > Paddles smoothly!
     > Holds an edge magnificently!
     > Floats perfectly
Things I HATE about the J-Bay:
     > I only have one!

My Big boy longboard shreds. I shopped a long time trying to find a ride that would fit (6'2" 260). I have had it for a month
and it feels comfortable in all kinds of surf. After 30 years of surfing up and down the west coast I have found a new passion. It will be a while before I grab anything other than my waveski when going for a surf.
Judging by the performance and passerby(old and young) comments I think their just may be a wave riding revolution just as we've seen on the ski slopes with snowboarding. Thanks for your attention to detail. Another satisfied customer. Chris Johns, Oceanside , Ca

Roy, my man!  I have been anxious to tell you what a truly BEAUTIFUL ski you have made. I wanted to wait until I tried it , though. Now I can tell you. As I walked back up the beach from a great ride I said to myself (outloud)F*CK !! This thing is hot! I am totally stoked. The performance is peak, and I was only in about 3' stuff. We are getting a fresh batch of
Southern swells this week, and I am PUMPED!! Looked at the pintail ski.
Yes, interested. Love the new belt, and the ski pad fits my ass like a
suction cup.! Great job, and the graphics are tits!! I hope you like
your job, because I plan to keep you busy. Best regards to you and your
family. Hope to see you soon, thanks again for the wonderful stick.

Thanks for your efforts in producing my new ski. I've had the ski for two weeks and I am very please with it's performance characterisics. I've ridden in all types of  conditions and have found the ski to be very predictable...as you know I've been involved  with this sport since the early 80's...importing, retailing andcompeting on Aussie skis...I can only say that I am VERY impressed withthis last ski that you made for me. I'm glad I have gotten back into thesport....waveskiing has always allowed me to have fun in the water. By the way the paddle is the best I've used to date. Thanks again for your sustained promotion of the sport in the USA and worldwide.

" On Sunday I stayed around home and had a really fun session on the longboard.  The sun was shining and the wind was offshore, blowing plumes ofspray off the tops of the waves.  It was gorgeous.  I was dropping intowaist-to-chest high clean green walls and p-r-o-j-e-c-t-i-n-gthat boarddown the line!  It's a totally different feeling from the short board, butit was great!  You get a kind of sling-shot effect when you turn off thebottom and lock it into the pocket.  There is a tremendous feeling ofmomentum, like you are powered by an irresistable force.  I read aboutthat once, where a long board surfer was describing why he liked riding along board, but this was the first time I really recognized it.  It's agreat board!

Carol and I just spent 3 hours with our new boards at Mandos. Decent conditions…some overhead sets. Well, thanks to your good work, I finally have a waveski that I can learnon!  Stability was great, and the board did just what I expected!  Goodcutbacks,  held an edge well on some steep faces and ran in front of thesoup with no problem!  Going out was not problem…it handled somegood-sized broken waves easily.  Everything fits perfectly. For a boardthat is as long and wide as this one, it really is quite nimble.  I’mecstatic!Carol loves her board.  It’s very stable for her, paddles easily.  This was the first time that she had enough confidence on a ski to try ridingsome soup!  She’s really quite afraid of the surf, but I think this is theboard that will get her into it, finally. Many thanks!!! Rod & Carol Micheal, San Diego, Ca

"It was our first week back in Hanalei and the new ski felt awkward, but you said call me in three weeks. Well, I went out every day and after three weeks was having too much fun to remember to call. I feel I learn and continue to improve every day. This picture was taken about a month after I got the ski. The largest wave I rode had faces of 16-18 feet." Doug Nowacki Weaverville, CA

"Just a note to say "THANKS" for making my new ski...I LOVE it! I have been surfing waveskis since 1983 and have owned several skis (and surfed many others as well), but nine are as refined in terms of design and construction as Island Products. My ski is strong, lightweight, beautiful, and "really performs" it have exceeded my expectations in every regard (and I'm a tough customer)." Cliff von Langen, Consultant, Lighthouse Point, FL
